A journalist by training, she has built her career in communications and media relations. She deepened her expertise at the KomA Communications Academy, working on strategic communications, audiences and the public presence of non-governmental organisations. She joined the Not in Whispers team as a communications specialist, combining her journalism background with work in the civic sector. Having completed training on preventing and countering gender-based violence, she pays particular attention to language, ethics and the sensitive, accurate coverage of difficult topics.

Practical experience

At Not in Whispers she is responsible for external communications and the organisation’s public voice. She shapes communication plans, coordinates social media, prepares and approves texts for publication, negotiates with media and manages information partnerships. She helps turn complex topics of sexuality education, sexuality, safety and countering violence into clear messages for different audiences - without sensationalism, stigma or loss of meaning.
